Pupils from La Salle thoroughly enjoyed participating in the O’Neills mid term school of Gaelic football. The popular course consisted of coaching drills and skills conditioned games in the morning followed by a very competitive and exciting mini All-Ireland with many high scoring games. The course was conducted by past pupils and members of staff, Domhnall Nugent, Kevin McCann and Daniel Wallace (who all actually participated in the scheme as pupils) and Mr Buchanan.
